Thank you for using Summary Bot! Please read these Terms of Service (“TOS”) carefully. By using Summary Bot, you agree to be bound by these TOS. If you do not agree with these TOS, you must not use Summary Bot.
By using Summary Bot, you signify your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree or are not willing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this TOS, please do not seek to obtain access to or otherwise use Summary Bot.
Summary Bot is a Discord bot that provides users with the ability to summarize messages in Discord servers. The bot uses third-party services including OpenAI API, Firebase, and GCloud TTS (Text-to-Speech) to generate summaries of messages.
As a user of Summary Bot, you agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes. This includes respecting all intellectual property rights that may belong to third parties (such as trademarks or photographs).
Summary Bot may collect and store data as necessary to provide its services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and disclose information from our users.
Users may summarize messages from specific channels, users, or within a specific time frame. Users cannot summarize more than 10,000 messages in one request unless they specify a user, in which case the limit is 200 messages. Summary Bot is dependent on the availability and functionality of third-party services including OpenAI API, Firebase, and Google Cloud TTS. Summary Bot is not responsible for any outages, changes, or issues related to these third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify these TOS at any time. If we make changes to these TOS, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by sending a notification, posting a notice on the Summary Bot or by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of Summary Bot will confirm your acceptance of the revised TOS.
Summary Bot is provided “AS IS.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event will we be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or any other intangible loss) arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or your inability to access or use, Summary Bot, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of damage.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Summary Bot, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these TOS or your use of Summary Bot, including, but not limited to, any use of Summary Bot’s content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these TOS.
These TOS shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the country/state where the service is based.
